Wow, this is a book I am REALLY excited about! It's a fun fact title all about ten of the planet's most amazing (and scary) animals:

Yes, to write this I had to take my life in my hands and get close to some really growly beasts. I not only interview a tiger but put all kinds of questions to a wolf, a lion, a jaguar, a polar bear and several other majestic creatures.

The book has simply gorgeous illustrations by the brilliant Nick East and is the first of a whole series from Welbeck Publishing where I interview all kinds of wildlife from around the world.

Each animal's personality shines through and we really get to know what creatures like the beautiful snow leopard think of human beings... it's quite an eye opener!

By the way, if you are wondering just HOW I managed to talk to these ten clawed beasts then the book reveals all - I created a special machine (the TRANIMALATOR) to allow me to chat to any animal...

And if you are thinking this invention isn't real then LOOK...

This is a brilliantly funny and informative animal fact book.
Great design, will be loved by young and old.
Certainly a good contender for this year's Christmas gifts!

Quirky and lots of fun – some of these animal celebs have wicked senses of humour – but genuinely informative (I had no idea that jaguars eat caimans, or that giant armadillos build new dens every couple of days, or that sloths have mould growing on them!). It reminds us how many of these animals are threatened too and what we can do to help. The illustrations match the tone and it’s bright and engaging throughout. This is a book that children will be keen to share and to return to.
